From my presentation the only feedback I received was about one of still image from a video installation I did before ITP. It was perhaps one of the most fulfilling projects I worked and it was part of an art exhibition. The title of this piece is "I want to be a Sculpture" and the overall things that took me the most, was brainstorming the creative visual direction, and the editing of the video piece. I filmed everything in one day and I worked with a costume designer. 

Although . I loved working with fabric I would like to focus some of part of my thesis research to the use of a biomaterial as fabric to either project or make an installation with it.
In term of subject I have a couple of interest, education, women's reproductive rights, biomaterials for industrial use. Whatever subject I decide to pursue I see my work as an installation with some biomaterials or interactivity.

From the list of projects I really liked Tianyi's project as I liked the idea of utilizing machine learning, costume making in order to create a bigger conversion about immigrants. 

Akshita's Project was very moving and I liked the amount of research, history and personal stories.By encouraging the audience to to  draw a new map she was able to turn an analog interactivity into powerful reflection point for the audience

Designing Tactile Experiences for Historical Garments I enjoyed the research and tactile experience and educational ethos

What does VR do well, and what is it lacking? For the most part VR has been used as an entertainment form. While the sensorial experience beyond the headset is becoming important, there is still a long way to go. On one hand it can efficiently transport us to a different headspace in a few seconds. I think VR researches needs to think away from the Vision and touch meaning just the physical experience and think more of the psychological effects of "tele transporting" people's minds. What is the role of bias in creating technological tools? I think using technological tools is one of the easiest ways to access a larger demographic therefore it should be created by All TYPES of people. For the past 20 years we have become more and more dependent on the information we consumed and exchange in a tech environment. Bias is real and it wasn't until less than a decade ago that the conversation about bias and the impact on people life's started to become more of a central topic. Now more than ever we need to give tools to people that otherwise don't have a voice in development of said technologies. Also understanding that Bias cannot disappear from one day to another, it a long process and we need to keep the conversation and education going.
